With spring well and truly here the time has come for carnivals, fetes and festivals...
We will be running our fun craft workshops to allow your children to get creative with lots of art materials and make a beautiful collage picture to take home and keep.

Meadow Madness, on May 15^th

Christchuch Meadow in Wolsey Road, Caversham is the venue for Meadow Madness, part of Reading Children's Festival. Charities, community groups and local children's organisations will be running stalls and activities throughout the day.

Winnersh Village Fete on June 19th

Winnersh Village Fete is a traditional family fete including stalls with games, some selling produce, others providing information about local organisations, etc. There will be a programme of activities, including arena displays and competitions, and several attractions for all ages. There is no charge to gain entrance to the fete or for many of the attractions.

Holybrook Festival on June 27th

There will be fairground rides, Furry Foot, a bouncy castle, face painting, candy floss and ice cream - a traditional fete.  A circus workshop, drum workshop and many fun activities.  Martial Arts displays, dancing displays, plus a beer tent and other refreshments.  A wide variety of craft stalls, children's funfair, barbecue, a plant stall, book stall, a raffle and penalty shootout organised by the neighbourhood wardens.

Swallowfield Show on August 30th and 31st

Now in it's 125^th year the Swallowfield Show is organised completely by volunteers and has grown and blossomed over the years. All day exhibitions, entertainment and competitions for horses, ponies and dogs. Swallowfield is one of the remaining, flourishing, traditional shows still exhibiting horticulture, floral art, art, craft, cookery and photography. It really is a brilliant day out for all ages.
